TreasureTress April Box Review!

The excitement is always real when you receive that email from TreasureTress letting you know that your box is on it’s way! I get my box delivered to work, so I usually spend most of the day frantically opening, closing and re-opening my box just to look and smell the products that I receive! (Am I the only one that does this?!)

This month, the April box is dedicated to the ‘Spring Slay’ and with that, they’ve curated a box full of products which allows your hair to blossom with life, volume and energy!

In the UK, we’re approaching that time of year now where we’re slowly saying goodbye to protective styling and finally showing off the growth which we’ve achieved throughout the Winter months. Unfortunately, I wasn’t so smart this Winter and didn’t protect my hair enough which caused some of my curls to become drastically limp and lifeless. With that said, I’ve tried out some of the products in this month’s box and I kid you not, I’m impressed already by the bounce and volume to my curls!

Going through the contents of the box, they’ve provided us with the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Moisture Rich Shampoo and Restoring Conditioner. This combination alone will add the right amount of moisture to your hair to give it the life it needs as well as restoring the curls which may have been abandoned over the last few months.

A bonus to these products is their smell! The shampoo contains a hint of mint chocolate in it’s fragrance and the conditioner contains natural peppermint oil which is a great combination for stimulating growth but overall just smells amazing!

A product I was definitely excited about trying out this month, is the Activilong Leave-In Actiforce which is popular for giving strength to curly and kinky hair and I can definitely vouch for this! I’ll be honest though, I was a little bit hesitant about the product because it’s slightly thinner in consistency than a lot of other leave-in products, however I was not disappointed in the slightest as it’s such a rich, moisturising product and the fact it’s slightly lighter in consistency means it doesn’t create any build up or greasiness in your hair. This product also contains, Sapote and Black Castor Oil; a combination not to be downplayed at all, trust me!

In addition to all the above, the Hair Amour Growth Stimulating & Conditioning Hair & Scalp Oil is something I was personally most excited about as I’ve been meaning to purchase a Hair & Scalp Oil as I’ve found that the previous colder months have been really harsh on my scalp and has dried it out quite dramatically. Having used this product only once, I’m eager to see the results of it over the coming month…so far, so good!

As always, TreasureTress provide a bonus gift and this month it is the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick which is great for smoothing out dry and damaged skin, but also is a great chapstick as well!

Rewinding back to the March TreasureTress box, I’ve used all the products religiously and my fave product from that box has to be the Creme Of Nature Coconut Milk Curl Repair Leave-In! It 100% repairs limp and dry curls but also smells so good which I find to be one of those factors that can really make or break a great product. The SheaMoisture Leave-In Treatment is of course another absolute favourite, so much so that I need to repurchase it already!! If you haven’t checked out my last TreasureTress review, why not go have a read?

As I’ve said before, I cannot recommend TreasureTress enough! They are genuinely an amazing company and provide such great quality products from brands which cater to kinky and curly hair!
